I strive to keep my fees balanced between affordable for you and sustainable for me.
Insurance
am an in network provider for:
Aetna
BlueCross BlueShield
Optum
United Behavioral Health/United Healthcare
UMR - United Medical Resources
Cigna/Evernorth
Some of these companies provide mental health benefits for other insurance companies; you can check the back of your insurance card and call the number listed to see who your behavioral health company is. I am happy to check for you. I accept cash, check, or credit cards for the payment of copays or coinsurance.
If you have a different insurance, you may pay me a fee for service, and I can file your out of network claims for you. Many insurance plans will reimburse you a portion of the fee.
Fee for service
I also see clients on a fee for service basis. I have a sliding fee scale from $85-$150 per 55 minute session.
Although I am pleased to accept insurance for those who want to use it, there are benefits to paying a fee for service rather than using insurance. Paying a fee allows you to receive the help you need without having a formal mental disorder diagnosis associated with your name. Paying a fee also keeps the details of your treatment more confidential. Most importantly, without the limitations of insurance company restrictions, your counseling experience can be tailored solely to meet your specific needs.
